It was 1976 when Prince Far I debuted is unique toasting style under the spell of producer Lloydie Slim at Randy’s Studio. The album features nine tracks based on psalms and “The Lord’s Prayer”, over rhythms largely played by The Aggrovators. Psalms 53 – in particular – used the rhythm from the Lee”Scratch” Perry-produced “Mighty Cloud Of Joy”. It is meditative music and establishes Prince Fari, literally the man with the voice of thunder, as a formidable force in music business.
